Phew! Finally finished!
 This has been worked on for a really long time. The sketch of it was done like last year or something...This was also colored once before except a few months later when I went back to it, it was awful so I started over. I used some references in this but I lost them all by the time I finished the pencil sketch...[link] ..which looks like crapThe little girl is inspired by the differential equations professor's daughter whom he brought to class. He wasn't supposed to though...she would be fussy and stuff, and sometimes she roller-bladed back and forth in the hallway outside the classroom. This took a long time to finish so any comments and critique is muchly appreciated. It feels incomplete for some reason, so if anyone can point me in the direction of completion, that would be great. Thanks much for looking! This is also the first picture I've actually signed in a long time...thought it was kind of dumb to sign every piece of crap I make..except this one isn't crap...I hope By the way, the colors are really washed out if you view this in firefox... edit: The color difference has to do with the color profile setting in the browser. I just upgraded to firefox 3 and manually changed the settings in the configuration. The colors in the picture are alright now...but all my other ones look sickeningly bright...  edit 6/12/09: made the water more shiny as per  's suggestion |

@____@ WOW Karlen. I'm loving the Japanese Carps (wait.. are those fishes really Kois?). They look too real. And the flowers really reminded me of the 'Batik' project I did recently, only yours is obviously nicer. Hahaha. The little girl, needless to say is so cute (pinches cheeks)! Her hair is nicely done <3.
That all combined - Awesome job!

Not sure if looking in IE shows you the colors I see in photoshop...
I really don't know why the stupid internet browser kills the colors...though in Safari, the colors look alright...I don't know how to fix it! AH!!
